Abstract

This paper discusses the effect of Turkish Culture, which enhanced its existence in Bosnia-Herzegovina during the historical period, on Bosnian Culture by providing examples from the food culture. The purpose of this paper is to discover Turkish food that continues to exist in Bosnia-Herzegovina till today. Paper, being a folkloristic study, made use of dictionary resources apart from the written resources. Paper was examined with the functional method which is one of the methods of Folklore. At the end of study, it is seen that dishes, soups and desserts kind belonging to the Turkish culinary culture continues to function even today.
