ABSTRACT
There is a strong relationship between environmental pollution and sustainable energy. Increased
use of renewable energy sources for sustainable energy, reduced environmental pollution, energy
resources must be used efficiently. Environmental problems that arise during energy production
and consumption must be minimized. One of these environmental problems of heavy metal
pollution. The Volcanic activities , rock, mining, anthropogenic activities, creates heavy metal
pollution . Biological materials can be used to reduce the heavy metal pollution. Mushrooms can
be one of from these biological material and the heavy metal pollutions can be used. Therefore,
the mushrooms are used to assess the level of environmental pollution. Lead is a heavy metal and
causes environmental pollution. The aim of the this study to accumulation of lead in the Boletus
edulis and Lactarius delicious.

ABSTRACT
The undoubted advantages of induction motor drives fed by frequency inverters, for energy
efficiency improvement inclusive, have led to their increasing utilization in practice. Their
application results in generation of harmonic distortions that have an adverse effect on
electromagnetic compatibility. This paper presents a study of the degree of harmonic current
distortions in the electric supply system caused by variable frequency drives of different
manufacturers at varying loads. It has been established how the values of the total harmonic
distortion and the crest factor change at no load and at rated load applied to the studied frequency
inverters. As a result of the performed analysis of the generated harmonics, the most pronounced
harmonics of the power line current have been determined, which must be filtered in order to
prevent disturbance of the electromagnetic compatibility.

ABSTRACT
Fisheries are the fastest growing food production system in the world. Global production has
grown considerably in aquaculture and this disposition is being expected to increase. In this
regard, a new way of species search has commenced in aquaculture. Aquaculture of Pangasius
sp. has a significant place in this search among sustainable tropical species.

Among other cultured species pangasius is the 4th most commonly cultured species in the world
after salmon, shrimps and tilapia. The tremendous potential of the pangasius sector directs the
attention of world fisheries market. In turkey, there is not a recorded pangasius production data.
There have been cultivated as a hobby for the aquarium fish.
In this study, information regarding general characteristics and production techniques of
pangasius fish has been presented and samples from around the world have been addressed.
The purpose of this research when the state and contribution of the genus pangasius, which is
accepted as fast growth, a significant food source for having high protein rate and being able to
adapt to various food diets, are considered, pangasius aquaculture in an aqua environment
suitable for its environmental demands is the contribution to the development of fisheries. Also,
it might be targeted to provide energy conservation and decrease the costs of aquaculture by
obtaining the necessary hot water supply from geothermal sources, which have high potentials
and which are sustainable, renewable and cheap.

ABSTRACT
The energy sector is often credited for having major economic potential and being a driver of
growth for Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). It has been proven that BiH possesses potential
renewable energy sources, in particular hydro and biomass. However, the majority of energy
production is conducted in outdated power plants and based on fossil fuels, resulting in
environment pollution. In order to be energy sustainable, development of these processes should
aim to reduce the environmental costs of energy production and use. The way in which BiH
decides to use its major energy potentials will have significant implications for the future. This
paper examines various aspects of sustainable development, starting from a review of
development and energy intensity indicators.
The current state of the electrical energy sector is not sustainable due to the lack of investment
into energy plants in the past, unrealistic plans for investment, inadequate policies and incentives
for energy efficiency, and a lack of consistent policy to support renewable energy use. In
addition to these problems, a state energy policy is virtually nonexistent and the state utilizes
lower quality coal in thermal plants. Without a change in energy policies and consumption
behaviour, as well as an increase in new investment with adequate financing models, BiH may
soon face problems with its energy supply.

ABSTRACT
The use of a solar cell in space requires the knowledge of its behaviour under high-energy partial
radiation. This radiation in space produces defects in semiconductor that cause a reduction in
solar cell power output. In this paper we present the method for predicting the behaviour of a
solar cell for satellite applications. Modeling has been performed for several types of GaAs and
GaInP single cells and results are compared with experimental data obtained for electron and
proton irradiations.

ABSTRACT
All dielectric self-supporting (ADSS) fiber optic cables have been installed in power
transmission lines. As time passed, ADSS cable failures started to occur since ADSS cables,
placed under transmission lines, have been subjected to a high electrical field. Dry band arcing is
one of the electrical phenomena that causes most of these failures and it is a common problem in
industry. In order to investigate the reasons of cable failures, several studies have been carried
out and a new testing method was developed for the IEEE 1222 standard. This new method
simulates the actual field conditions for ADSS cables, and at the same time, it determines the dry
band arcing resistance. Rather than defining the insulation strength of the cable, the IEEE 1222
method decides the quality of the cable insulation material. In this study; two different dry band
arcing test method is used to investigate the surface behavior of ADSS cables. At first cables
were tested according to IEEE 1222 test standart then at the same laboratory conditions, ADSS
cable samples studied for the first time under the sag conditions. The results taken from the
experimental work were studied with weibull statistics. The reliability, unreliability failure rate
and probability density functions (pdf), variations acquired and discussed for two different test
set up. The statistical comparison gives us that the aging behavior of the ADSS cables is the
same under different experimental conditions. ADSS optical cables have so far shown an
acceptable performance on lines up to 150 kV. Nonetheless, failures have occurred with ADSS
cables installed on lines with a higher voltage. These failures are caused by electrical
phenomena, such as corona, sparking and dry band arcing, since the cables are exposed to the
strong electrical field environment. The basic concept of the arc resistance test is that the
energized cable is sprayed by salt water for few minutes. This produces conducting wet layer on
the cable surface and initiate leakage current.

<text>Keywords:Dryband Arcing, ADSS Cable, Aging, Insulation material. ABSTRACT All dielectric self-supporting (ADSS) fiber optic cables have been installed in power transmission lines. As time passed, ADSS cable failures started to occur since ADSS cables, placed under transmission lines, have been subjected to a high electrical field. Dry band arcing is one of the electrical phenomena that causes most of these failures and it is a common problem in industry. In order to investigate the reasons of cable failures, several studies have been carried out and a new testing method was developed for the IEEE 1222 standard. This new method simulates the actual field conditions for ADSS cables, and at the same time, it determines the dry band arcing resistance. Rather than defining the insulation strength of the cable, the IEEE 1222 method decides the quality of the cable insulation material. In this study; two different dry band arcing test method is used to investigate the surface behavior of ADSS cables. At first cables were tested according to IEEE 1222 test standart then at the same laboratory conditions, ADSS cable samples studied for the first time under the sag conditions. The results taken from the experimental work were studied with weibull statistics. The reliability, unreliability failure rate and probability density functions (pdf), variations acquired and discussed for two different test set up. The statistical comparison gives us that the aging behavior of the ADSS cables is the same under different experimental conditions. ADSS optical cables have so far shown an acceptable performance on lines up to 150 kV. Nonetheless, failures have occurred with ADSS cables installed on lines with a higher voltage. These failures are caused by electrical phenomena, such as corona, sparking and dry band arcing, since the cables are exposed to the strong electrical field environment. The basic concept of the arc resistance test is that the energized cable is sprayed by salt water for few minutes. This produces conducting wet layer on the cable surface and initiate leakage current.</text>

ABSTRACT
The aquaculture industry is one of the fastest growing animal husbandry industries in the world
with its annual growth rate. However, several disease outbreaks are posing a problem to the
development of this sector. These problems constitute the largest single cause of economic losses
in aquaculture. Therefore, new methods are needed to overcome disease problems. In the last
decades, many fish farmers have attempted to use food additives and antibiotics to cope with fish
disease problem. However, the use of antibiotics in fish farming is restricted in many countries
due to occurrence of antibiotic residues in aquaculture products that threat human health.
Antibiotics also cause immune-saving effect in aquatic pathogenic bacteria. Therefore, several
new environment-friendly preventive and prophylactic methods are being developed nowadays
to control such diseases and to maintain a healthier microbial environment in aquaculture
systems. One of the methods used are probiotic supplementation to the aquatic animal in order to
manipulate the gut flora and to control the microbial activity. The probiotics are described as live
microorganisms which have beneficial effects on the health and physiology of host organisms.
Prebiotics are also defined as non-digestible materials which provide host isolation by inhibiting
the activity of harmful pathogenic microorganisms in the environment as well as supporting the
development of beneficial probiotic bacteria by dint of mechanisms of various actions in the
environment. The studies of prebiotics in fish have mainly researched the effect on growth, feed
conversion, gut microbiota and resistance against pathogenic bacteria. Considering these
components, the results have been obtained from previous scientific studies were investigated,
advantages and disadvantages have been highlighted in this study.

ABSTRACT
In order to close the food gap resulting from population growth, cheaper and more quality
producible species gain importance in the world. Since tilapia has a lot of positive characteristics
desired for culture, they are among the significant species and have a rising value. Tilapia is
known to have about 100 species and its culture began in Africa and spread to many other
countries. There may be some problems in tilapia culture including the tropical regions to which
they are indigenous. Tilapia species are not found in Turkey’s natural waters but studies towards
their culture began in 1970s. Although a lot of scientific research has been conducted, required
levels have not been reached yet.
In this study, information regarding the general characteristics of tilapia, reproduction biology,
production techniques, and problems in aquaculture and their use in aquaponic system has been
presented.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to obtain some preliminary data on acclimation of fingerlings and
grow-out of Axillary Seabream (Pagellus acarne Risso, 1926) under intensive conditions in sea
net cages.
In this study, Axillary Seabream (Pagellus acarne) juveniles were caught from
Sıgacık/Seferihisar and stocked in the sea water net cages. Fish were reared for 13 months with
commercial fish feed.
The size of the net cages that were used in the experiment, ranges from 5 x 5 x 5 and 10 x 10 x 9
m3, depending of the fish size. Initial mean weight of fish, stocked in cages, was
31,52 ±
1,73 g. Final mean weight was obtained 277,16 ± 6,75 g. The survival rate of the fish during the
experiment until marketing size was >95% . The feed conversion ratio (FCR) was calculated as
3,3.

ABSTRACT
To meet the growing demand, new ways are being sought to find new alternative sources. But,
finding an alternate source is not enough, due to the fact that the power source should be
sustainable and feasible. To be able decide whether it is efficient or not, we need to be able to
analyze production rate. That is why data monitoring is an important area for energy production.
We are able to gather raw data from power generator infrastructures. But these data is only raw
data. We need a visual and interpretable ways to analyze, to utilize and to predict the efficiency
of production. This paper focused on data monitoring part of energy production which output by
wind turbines. The main purpose of this work is to provide to convert raw data into more
readable and more analyzable format. We have prepared Wind Data Analyzer to visualize data
by using elasticity of OOP (object oriented programing) to wind turbine data.
