Investigating the Relationship between Corporate Culture and Job Satisfaction in Financial Sector: Case for Banks
Abstract
There is a consensus that organizational culture affects outcomes both for the organization and the individual. Researchers examined the impact of organizational culture on organizational commitment, job satisfaction, turnover and retention. Although it is generally accepted that organizational culture affects job satisfaction little empirical research has been conducted to provide evidential support, especially in financial sector. This paper examines organizational culture’s effect on job satisfaction in banking sector. We assume that organizational culture is the factor that influences job satisfaction and search the relationship between them.
