Particularly in dry areas,  the plant naturally found and preventing erosion.     <dcterms:title><![CDATA[Linear Support Vector Machines for HIV-1 Protease Site Detection]]></dcterms:title>
    <dcterms:abstract><![CDATA[Several studies have been done for the HIV-1 protease specificity problem by  applying machine learning computation techniques recently. In this work, a Linear Support  Vector Machine (LSVM) technique has been applied to predict the cleavability of proteins by  HIV-1 protease. We used Orthonormal Encoding (OE) extraction technique to map  octopeptide sequence inputs. According to simulation outcomes, we have achieved better  result, which has a rate of %91.8, compared to earlier studies to predict the cleavability of  HIV-1 protease.]]></dcterms:abstract>

    <dcterms:title><![CDATA[Türk Dili Ve Edebiyatı Bölümlerinde Osmanlı Türkçesi Eğitimi]]></dcterms:title>
    <dcterms:abstract><![CDATA[Osmanlı Türkçesi, Türk dili tarihinin yaklaşık 450-500 yıllık bir dönemini ihtiva  etmektedir. İlim âleminde Osmanlıca da denilen bu devrede Arap harfli Türkçe metinler  yazılmıştır. Osmanlıca tarih boyunca hiçbir zaman başka bir dil olmamıştır. Arapça, Farsça  unsurlar içermekle beraber dil Türkçedir. Bu döneme vâkıf olabilmek için iyi bir donanıma  sahip olmak gerekir. Bunun için de ilk önce Arap alfabesi çok iyi bilinmelidir. Daha sonra  bol bol Arap harfli Türkçe metin okunmalı ve bu metinler yazılmalıdır. Ayrıca günümüze  yabancı olan kelimeler sözlüklerden bulunup, kavranılmalıdır. Günümüzde Türkiye’de  Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı, Tarih, bazı Sanat Tarihi, Kütüphanecilik bölümlerinde ve İlahiyat  Fakültelerinde ilmî olarak Osmanlı Türkçesi eğitimi verilmektedir. Bunların dışında bazı  özel teşebbüsler çeşitli vakıflar aracılığıyla Osmanlı Türkçesi dersleri açmaktadır. Kendi  kültürümüzü, tarihimizi, edebiyatımızı, dilimizi ve toplumsal yapımızı iyi anlayabilmek için  Osmanlı Türkçesi dersi vasıtadır. Bu vasıta kullanılarak kültür köklerimize ilk elden ulaşma  imkânına sahip olabiliriz.. Tebliğimizde; Türkiye’de bulunan 8 üniversite örnek olarak  alınmış ve bu üniversitelerin Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı bölümlerinde okutulmakta olan  Osmanlı Türkçesi değerlendirilmiş ve bu derslerin daha verimli bir şekilde öğrencilere  verilebilmesi için neler yapılması gerektiği hakkında bazı teklifler sunulmuştur. Tebliğimiz;  Osmanlı Türkçesi eğitiminin gerekli olduğu, bu eğitimin toplumda yaygınlaşması gerektiği  konusuna bir nebze de olsa dikkat çektiyse hedefine ulaşmış sayılacaktır.]]></dcterms:abstract>

    <dcterms:title><![CDATA[Drina Köprüsü’nde “Birlikte Yaşama Kültürü”]]></dcterms:title>
    <dcterms:abstract><![CDATA[Köprüler, insanları birbirine kavuşturan yapılardır. Bir kıyıdan diğer kıyıya uzanan  köprülerin temel fonksiyonu, “birleştirmek”tir. Köprü, Balkanist söylemin bölgeye atfettiği en  uygun metafor olarak kabul edilmiş, Balkanlar, sık sık Doğu ile Batı, İslâm ile Hıristiyanlık,  kısaca “onlar” ile “biz” arasındaki belirsiz konumundan kaynaklanan arada kalmışlığı ile  gündeme gelmiştir. Bu nedenle Yugoslavya’daki son savaşlarla ilgili siyasî ve ekonomik  değerlendirmelerde bile, en çok gönderme yapılan kitaplar arasında, İvo Andric’in bu metafor  üzerine kurulan Drina Köprüsü (1945) adlı romanı yer almıştır. İvo Andriç’e 1961 yılı Nobel  Edebiyat ödülünü kazandıran Drina Köprüsü, Bosna’yı ve orada yaşayan insanları, o ülkenin  yüzlerce yıllık tarihine tanıklık eden bir köprünün, Drina Köprüsü’nün ‘dilinden’ anlatan bir  roman. Eser, Balkan insanın yaşantısını ve kozmopolitliğini, bir köprü üzerinden anlatır.  Farklılıkların bir arada bir dönemde nasıl yaşayabildiğinin da görüleceği bu roman, uzun yıllar  önce yazılmasına rağmen değerinden hiçbir şey kaybetmemiş; bir millete veya bir cemaate  değil de bir ülkeye, bir vatana adanmış bir romanıdır. İvo Andriç’in bu eseri, Osmanlı’da  farklı toplulukların -iyisiyle kötüsüyle- bir arada nasıl yaşadığını, geniş bir görüşle ve bir  tarihçi titizliğiyle tasvir eder. Biz bu bildirimizde, bugün hem Balkanlarda hem de dünyanın  pek çok yerinde başarılamayan “birlikte yaşama” kültürünün bu romandaki yerini irdeleyip  “köprü atan/yıkan değil köprü yapan” bir medeniyetin/İmparatorluğun dayandığı dinamiklere  temas etmeye çalışacağız.]]></dcterms:abstract>

    <dcterms:title><![CDATA[Getting Increase of the Aquaculture Population and Varieties  with the Artificial Habitats]]></dcterms:title>
    <dcterms:abstract><![CDATA[The significance and protection of the biological diversity in the continental waters  of countries in the world has become one of the concerns which should be addressed as a  matter of urgency. The scientists consistently underline the fact that several species are  endangered to extinct and that the number and population of such species are gradually  decreasing. There observed many causes of the extinction of the species. The heavily increase  of the human population is the most important reason for this. Such a heavy increase leads to  establishment of new settlement areas and constriction of the wild life. In this case, the  number of wild species extinct rapidly. Several scientists and members of the nature  protection organizations are aware of this particular case and conduct studies to protect the  natural environment of the wild life. In this context, the wild life should be given the chance  to reproduce through formation of the national parks and natural protection zones. Such parks  and zones should function as a shelter for some of the wild species. However, the measures  always include the inland environments. As a matter of fact, sea and lake ecosystems should  also be protected. It is a well known fact that one of the most important reasons of the species  leading their lives in the inland waters is the excessive fishing. When the environmental  pollution is taken into account, the descendance of several species is left to chance. In  addition global warming and climatic changes may have an impact on this particular matter.  In this case, it can be argued that various fisheries in the continental waters may extinct. It is  an inevitable fact that the scientific studies to be conducted to increase the population of the  fisheries and water products in the lakes and rivers of the country through promoting the  survival of miscellaneous fishes and aqua Formation of artificial habitats in the lakes and  rivers and such other appropriate locations may be of importance in the future. In this context,  our study will bear a torch on the researches to be conducted for the ecological and  sustainable water resources.]]></dcterms:abstract>
