<dcterms:abstract>The purpose of this study is to review the historical background of grammar instruction in ESL/EFL to find out its present status, and to suggest how to approach grammar instruction. Language teaching methodologists have not presented consistent advices to teachers about the role of grammar in language teaching and learning over the past some decades. Even today the situation is not clear because of the many conflicting positions taken in the methodological literature. The status of grammar in second or foreign language teaching and learning has shifted to a considerable degree. The shift of grammatical status has been from a position of central importance to disregardful status, and back to a position of renewed importance. Some focus on form is necessary for many learners to achieve accuracy and fluency in their acquisition of a second or foreign language. Grammar interacts with words, and it is resources to create and negotiate meaning and communication between speaker/writer and listener/reader. Structures are not learned in isolation, and language learning is an organic process characterized by backsliding, leaps in competence, and grammatical elements.</dcterms:abstract>

    <dcterms:title>TRIP TICKET RESERVATION SYSTEM</dcterms:title>
<dcterms:abstract>More and more people refer to digital means when doing their day to day life, whether it be making haircut appointments, paying bills, or even shopping for groceries. Despite the fast pace of technology, elderly people seem to not be able to catch up and are left having to physically get errands done, when they are the ones that can benefit the most from doing chores digitally. That’s where Global comes in, an easy to use trip ticket reservation web-app with a simple and intuitive UI that everyone can understand.
The platform's user-friendly design was created using React, powered by Vite.js, while the process going on behind the scenes were developed using Spring-boot and protected using Spring-security. The two sides communicate through RESTful API and the data is stored in a MySQL database. Key functionalities include searching for, filtering and booking tickets. When the trip is completed users can leave a review, and of course they cancel their reservation if they wish.
Ultimately, this project showcases how digital tools can simplify everyday tasks, offering an accessible solution for trip reservation that has the potential to improve the travel experience for all age groups.
<dcterms:title>Truths about Bosnia and Herzegovina, Conflict or Synergy</dcterms:title>
<dcterms:abstract>Abstract: The author discusses the importance of the ECtHR ruling in the case Sejdić and Finci in terms of necessary constitutional amendments that will establish Bosnia and Herzegovina as a normal European democratic country, which is independent and capable of integration in the EU. According to the author, BH is facing an inter-personal conflict of interests of constituent peoples which are harming them and the development of the state they reside in. He agrees the greater prominence of the constitutional system of BH should be given civic on the account of the national principle, however, this should not mean neglecting the concern for the equality of the constituent peoples and entities. Since the last war ended, these peoples have been living next to each other far too separately, and several times still against each other. In BH, various truths of the constituent peoples, "the others" and the international community are fronting. So far they have mostly been in conflict with one another rather than cooperating in synergy. The international community is undeniably accredited for terminating war-oriented hatred and maintaining permanent peace in BH. However, the "imposed" Dayton constitutional system has become the reason for inhibiting the development of BH. For that reason, the international community should transform its influence in such manner that it still stays the peace guarantor, but at the same time not jeopardize the BH independence to such an extent that it continues to represent the insurmountable obstacle to enter the EU. Strengthening the position and influence of "the others", i.e. those who are not the members of the constituent peoples, and considering their truths about BH, may bring fresh solutions in current problems and in searching for the new constitutional solutions. Therefore, the realization of the ECtHR ruling in the case Sejdić and Finci represents a small, yet constructive step in the right direction.</dcterms:abstract>

In this symposium I would like to introduce Protein 53 at chromosome 17 also known as Tumor suppressor gene. This gene regulates the Cell cycle in multicellular organisms, they are so called as guardians of the cells because the regulation of the cells prevents the cell to complete its cycle perfectly and not end up as a tumor (Cancer cell). In this topic I will give details about Protein 53`s relation with the genes, its nomenclature, structure, function and many more things about itself. </dcterms:abstract>

Çalışmamız kapsamında, Türkçülük fikrine dâhil olmadan dilde sadeleşme akımı taraftarı eserler veren Mehmet Akif’in, Balkan Savaşları dolayısıyla eserlerinde ortaya koyduğu toplumsal aksaklıklar okurun metne yüklediği anlamı merkezine alan “alımlama estetiği kuramı” kapsamında yapılandırılmıştır. Anahtar Kelimeler: Türk Edebiyatı, Akif’in Söylemleri, Batılılaşma, Milliyetçilik Akımı, Başkalaşım         THE PERPECTION OF MEHMET AKİF ABOUT BALKAN WAR IN HISTORY OF TURKISH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE Abstract In the history of Turkish Language and Literature, it has been qualified interactions in the Balkans in terms of literature and culture. Interactions between the Ottoman Empire and the Balkan States shows some developments in the fields of customs, traditions and architect in the 14th century. In the 19th century, Europe has developed ideological approach against multinational societies in terms of westernization and nationalism, after some milestones in the West such as Renaissance, Reform and Industrial Revolution. As a result of these developments in the West, 8-9 centuries-old cultural interactions between the Ottoman Empire and the Balkan States slowly begins to decline. However, despite all these discriminative policies of the 19th century, Thessaloniki based “Genç Kalemler” magazine and other Turkish magazines, overriding political aspect, continue to improve in the Balkans. Intellectuals who gathered around the “Genç Kalemler” magazine start the New Language Movement under the leadership of Ömer Seyfettin and Ziya Gökalp in an attempt to simplification of the language. During this period, there are two supporters of simplification without including the idea of Turkism; Mehmet Akif Ersoy and Süleyman Nazif. Because the Ottoman Empire is in the collapse period and the Islamic and Eastern civilizations under its flag begin to fragment, the need for public evaluation without a single nation identity requires the handling of Mehmet Akif discourse. In the present study, the works of Mehmet Akif, a supporter of simplification of language without including the idea of Turkism, about social deficiencies because of the Balkan wars were evaluated. The present study aims to evaluate these topics under the “reception aesthetics theory”. Key Words: Turkish literature, Mehmet Akif discourses, Westernization, Modernism, Nationalist movement, Metamorphosis</dcterms:abstract>
