<dcterms:abstract>Psychological factors are an interesting area of research because they are "hidden", they cannot be seen, and so we do not know how they act on consumers. This research was necessary to determine whether psychological factors (motivation, perception, learning, beliefs and attitudes) have influence on the behavior of consumers when they choose retail trade or on creation of satisfied and loyal customers. For each of the psychological factors have created a different claims that relate on the most common factors based on which consumers make decisions about the choice of retail stores.As a key factor that affects the choice of retailing and the consumer satisfaction singled out the kindness and helpfulness of the sales staff inside the retail trade. It is surprising that prices are only fourth of the factors based on which consumers choose retail. In recent years, it was a lot of talk about the global crisis, unemployment, and one would expect that the price be in the first place. But that just shows that the quality of service is necessary to considered as the source of competitive advantage.Aim of the owners should be building a relationship of trust with consumers. Their interests should be viewed as interests of partners in achieving success.Research has shown that consumer satisfaction results in their return again to retail and sharing positive experiences on family, friends, and acquaintances.Satisfied consumers are generally becoming loyal consumers and the retail trades with them have no fear that they will cross the competition. <dcterms:abstract>Sustainable development approach is of utmost importance for the future existence of tourism destinations. Therefore, enabling tourism development based on sustainability principles economically, socially and environmentally is considered to be a necessity. All stakeholders of the tourism sector have important roles in this development process. Especially, the inclusion of residents to this process and their involvement in decision-making mechanisms represent a focal point in sustainable tourism development. Any tourism development that does not take into consideration the needs and expectations of residents does not have much chance for success. There have been many studies made about residents’ perceptions and attitudes towards tourism and tourism development in tourism literature. However, only a few studies use sustainable development perspective in order to determine residents’ perceptions towards tourism development. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the residents’ perceptions towards sustainable tourism development in Alanya, an important tourism destination of Turkey and Mediterranean region. Data gathered from 134 residents in Alanya were analyzed using factor and correlation analysis, t-tests and ANOVA. Results presented a four-factor perceived sustainable tourism development measurement scale: environmental sustainability; perceived social costs; maximizing community participation; and perceived economic benefits. Findings have shown that there is a significant correlation between perceived economic benefits and two of the other three factors, which are environmental sustainability and maximizing community participation. Another main finding of the study is that residents are not fully aware of nor have much knowledge about the concept of sustainability and its principles, yet they still have shown positive attitude towards its principles. II. <dcterms:title>ResolveNet - Optimizing IT Service Desk Operations Using Agent-Based Modeling in NetLogo
</dcterms:title>
    <dcterms:abstract>IT service desks are an important aspect of maintaining IT systems by processing user reported problems, managing service requests, and assigning resources efficiently. Real world service desks, nonetheless, suffer from inefficiencies including high backlog of tickets, uneven staff workload, and slow response time. In this thesis, we introduce ResolveNet, an agent-based model (ABM) in NetLogo to model and optimize the operations of an IT service desk. The model recognizes the ticket processing dynamics, workload distribution, and user satisfaction to understand performance improvement.

Through a comparative study of simulated data and real world IT service desk logs, this study identifies critical inefficiencies in ticket resolution workflows. The results are that priority-based ticket assignment, automated workload leveling, and predictive analytics yield significant efficiency improvements, reducing average ticket resolution time by up to 40% and improving user satisfaction ratings. Scenario-based performance evaluation also identifies staff shortage, ticket spikes, and lack of automation as primary drivers of backlog accumulation.

The findings of this study have practical implications for IT service management by providing data driven strategies to enhance operational performance. Future upgrades may involve real-time integration with live IT service desks, machine learning driven optimization models, and further automation of routine ticket resolutions.
<dcterms:abstract>Abstract: Restorative Justice, Republic of Serbia. Changes in the criminal law in relation to adult and juvenile offenders bring about certain specific elements of restorative justice in domestic, traditionally retributive criminal justice system. The Criminal Code of the Republic of Serbia provides acquittal in the art. 58 The court may acquit the perpetrator of a crime which is punishable by prison sentence of up to five years, if after committing the crime, but before he found out that he was discovered, remove the consequences of the crime or compensate for the damage caused by the crime. In article 283 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Serbia has been introduced the principle of opportunity for criminal prosecution of adult offenders. Law on Juvenile Criminal Offenders and Criminal Protection of Juveniles RS provides alternative modes of reaction to juvenile delinquency. This model means distancing of juveniles from the criminal justice system and avoiding stigmatization of minor criminal proceedings, by pronouncing of corrective measures and penalties. Moving away from the classic retributive model are reflected in the imposition of corrective orders. Also, special obligations, as a kind of corrective measures warning and guidance, contain some elements of restorative justice, which embodies in the apology to the injured and compensation for damage caused within its capabilities; and from the standpoint of community volunteer involvement in the work of humanitarian organizations or activities of social, local or environmental. One of the proposals for the reform of domestic criminal law refers to the use of restorative justice in prisons.</dcterms:abstract>

    <dcterms:title>Restructuring Turkey as a New Semi-periphery in the Age of Globalization</dcterms:title>
    <dcterms:abstract>Associated with a number of structural shifts in global economic system, function and characteristic of the semi-periphery has considerably changed in the last several decades. However, having inherently been lodged with the ontological and the epistemological limitedness of world system theory, the conventional theorization of semi-periphery tends to be dismissive of the notion of globalization, and fails to analyze new functions and characteristics of semi-peripheral countries under neo-liberal globalization. Taking globalization seriously, this study aims to bring the term back to IPE literature with an up-to-date and analytically valid conceptualization of semi-peripheriality under neo-liberal globalization. In order to do this, it will first provide a comprehensive critique of the ontological and the epistemological deficiencies commonly associated with the previous accounts. Particularly, structuralist, cyclical systemic, state-bounded and holistic bias in world system theory will be critically explored in order to inform the reader about the underlying theoretical limitedness in understanding new dynamics of global economy. Mainly drawing on neo-Gramscian approach and theory of global capitalism, this study wills later present a neo-Gramscian-inspired articulation of new semi-periphery through giving special references to transnational’s phenomenon and the role of transnational-oriented economic and social forces within and above states. In so doing the matter of semi-periphery will be reconceptualised in the light of a number of changes associated with the rise of neo-liberal globalization since the beginning of the 1970`s. Building on this perspective, the study will lastly place the matter into an empirical context by taking Turkey as a case study of export-oriented new semi-periphery. Particularly, the transnationalization of Turkish economy and state structure will be analyzed as a manifestation of new semi-peripheriality under dynamics of neo-liberal globalization. In this context, a special emphasis will be placed on the transformative and agential role of transnational capitalist classes, international financial institutions and transnational-oriented economic and social forces within and above states. Keywords: Semi-periphery, globalization, neo-Gramscian theory, transnationalization, global capitalism, Turkey, social forces. </dcterms:abstract>

    <dcterms:title>Retrieval-Augmented Generation System for Efficient Access to University Information
</dcterms:title>
    <dcterms:abstract>Accessing university-related information, such as course syllabi, class schedules, and announcements, can be inefficient and fragmented, especially when data is distributed across multiple platforms. This often leads to time-consuming searches and a suboptimal user experience for both students and staff. This project presents a solution in the form of an intelligent, centralized platform capable of understanding natural language queries and delivering accurate, contextually relevant responses.
It implements a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system designed to streamline information access at International Burch University. The system features a multi-layered architecture combining semantic search and generative AI. Vespa.ai serves as the vector database enabling high-performance similarity search, while OpenAI’s GPT models handle natural language understanding and generation. MongoDB is used for session tracking and user state management. Documents in PDF, TXT, and web-based formats are ingested through a pipeline that performs scraping, text extraction, and chunking using LangChain’s RecursiveCharacterTextSplitter. The system is accessible via a modern web interface built with React.js, Vite, and Tailwind CSS, and also exposes a FastAPI-based REST API for backend interaction. Secure access is enforced using JWT-based authentication and authorization. The chatbot component retrieves relevant context through semantic search and maintains coherent multi-turn conversations using conversation history tracking.
The developed system significantly improves the accessibility and efficiency of retrieving university information. It provides fast, context-aware responses to user queries by combining robust retrieval techniques with generative language models.

The web-based interface ensures ease of use for both technical and non-technical users, while the modular backend supports scalability and maintainability. Intelligent query rephrasing and optimized chunk retrieval contribute to improved precision and user satisfaction. Overall, this solution demonstrates how RAG-based systems can transform information access in academic environments by offering a centralized, intelligent platform tailored to users' needs.
Economical globalization has given birth to the communicational globalization, this in turn, has factorized in the emergence of a global language, in the shape English. The learning of English has become a distinctive academic phenomenon around the globe and in particular a subject of privilege in the third world countries, but like the other fields, this academic field has undergone various upheavals. Non availability of linguistic experts and inconsistency in the delivery has made the English learning a staggering process in these countries. This paper focuses on the teaching of English as seen thrown the eyes of scholars with particular reference to the dogmatic approaches towards the practical significance of cultural interaction in the teaching process.</dcterms:abstract>
