<text>Inventory tracking is a critical challenge for small businesses, often relying on error-prone manual processes and lacking real-time visibility. This project proposes the development of a web-based inventory management system tailored for small and mid-sized businesses, aimed at streamlining stock control, sales tracking, and performance monitoring.
The system is designed as a full-stack application using React.js for the frontend, Node.js for the backend, and SQLite as the database. Core features include user authentication with role-based access, product and stock management, real-time transaction logging, sales tracking, and low-stock alerts. Backend logic is exposed via RESTful APIs, secured using JSON Web Tokens (JWT), and connected to a responsive user interface for efficient day-to-day usage.
The final version of the system is expected to provide full visibility into stock levels and sales performance, allowing admins and staff to carry out inventory tasks easily and securely. Features such as an analytics dashboard and a responsive design are planned to support future scalability and usability. The solution ultimately aims to reduce manual workload, minimize stock-related errors, and support data-driven decision-making in everyday business operations.

<text>In the presence of modern marketing & information systems, it becomes almost a necessity to have a cohesive online environment for transferring and getting information about a certain topic. Almost all people use the internet (specifically the world wide web) to gain access to information relative to their needs. Of course, the big topics such as education, medicine, politics and e-commerce make up a large amount of online information systems, serving as an alternative to old-fashioned paper-based education methods (books, prints, scripts…), medicine documentation (health-records, doctor analysis, medical tests…), legal documents (warranties, document prints…) and so on and so forth. The old methods of physical data storage and access have been replaced by modern online systems, allowing people not only to gain access remotely but to reduce the total amount of space used up by the information (from rooms filled with documents to rooms filled with terabytes of storage). This information system concept, referred to as IT system, is one of the key-points in making the below described application.
Another key-point to the development of this app relates to the importance of marketing and social events on the effect of tourism. Many big cities today live off of the money created from tourism. Whether we like it or not, foreign people like to spend time in our cities and are more inclined to spend their money on as many events and traditions as they possibly can in the short amount of time they have. Sarajevo is no exception, as it has long stood as the “Jerusalem of Europe”, bringing in tourists from all over the world. Hence, It would be important to inform the tourists of the main attractions and places to spend their valuable time at.

Those two key-points make up the bulk of the idea behind this application: Create an online information system for tourists and locals to discover new events and places to spend their time at. Not only would it serve as a convenient tool to have at everyday disposal, but it would also allow for marketing and discovering lesser known events and places all in one place, along with many other useful features, ensuring everyone stays up to date with the current situation in Sarajevo.

<text>The high cost of educational materials presents a significant financial burden for students and educators. This thesis presents SchoolBooks, a specialized Consumer-to-Consumer marketplace platform for buying and selling educational books across primary, secondary, and higher education levels.
The platform was developed using React frontend with TypeScript, Laravel PHP backend with RESTful API, and PostgreSQL database. The system features a three-tier user system (Free, Premium, Premium+) balancing accessibility with sustainability. Key functionality includes advanced search and filtering by educational level, secure authentication, product management with image upload, shopping cart and wishlist features, order processing, and real-time notifications. Development followed test-driven principles using Playwright.
SchoolBooks demonstrates the viability of specialized C2C marketplaces using modern web development practices. The modular architecture supports future enhancements including mobile applications and recommendation systems, contributing to educational technology through accessible resource sharing.

<text>This paper explores the use of a web platform for showcasing handmade jewelry branded as “Blingho” with a primary focus on presenting the available items in the most systematic and organized manner. Given the continuous growth of the market and demand, it is crucial for small businesses such as Blingho to establish a unique presence in the digital landscape. Therefore, the use of visual aids and the development of a user-friendly interface become essential for navigating the selection of decorative jewelry. This not only enhances the efficiency of the entire purchasing process but also contributes significantly to customer satisfaction.
The development process was divided into several key phases: planning, design, implementation, and testing. The frontend of the application was built using standard web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure responsiveness and clarity in design. On the back-end, PHP and MySQL were used to handle database interactions and user inputs, ensuring the dynamic functionality of the site. The initial phase involved a thorough analysis of user and business requirements, followed by the design of an efficient database structure to support product listings and user data. The completed application went through multiple testing iterations aimed at improving performance and optimizing usability.
The final outcome of the project was a fully functional, user-oriented web application that allows smooth interaction with the content. By centralizing the display of all available jewelry items, the platform helps maintain consistent data management while reducing operational costs and time. Moreover, the resulting digital storefront positions Blingho to enter broader markets with a polished and professional online image. Overall, the techniques and tools employed during the development proved effective in achieving the project’s objectives. Looking ahead, further enhancements could include the addition of advanced features and strengthened security protocols to support future scalability and user trust.

<text>In today's fast-paced world, maintaining a healthy diet can be challenging due to limited access to nutritious food options and the convenience of unhealthy alternatives. Many existing online shops for supplements are still underdeveloped, often displaying products that are unavailable in practice and lacking modern payment methods, which leaves customers dependent on cash-on-delivery.

To address these issues, the Protein Shop app was developed using HTML, CSS, and jQuery for the frontend and PHP with the Flight framework for the backend. The frontend and backend communicate via AJAX requests, ensuring a smooth and responsive user experience. A user-friendly interface is provided, and real-time notifications are sent when orders are placed and when they are shipped.

The application follows a system where the frontend manages presentation and interactivity, the backend processes requests and communicates with the database, and the database stores all product, user, and order information.

<text>This thesis presents the design and implementation of a comprehensive news analysis platform that delivers real-time insights into global news trends. The primary objective is to address the challenge of information overload by enabling users to efficiently track, analyze, and visualize news coverage from multiple reputable sources.
The system is developed as a full-stack web application, comprising a FastAPI backend and a React-based frontend. The backend automates the collection of articles from major news outlets, followed by systematic text cleaning and natural language processing. Sentiment analysis is performed using both lightweight (TextBlob) and advanced (spaCy) NLP pipelines, while trending keywords are extracted to highlight emerging topics. Data is aggregated into daily, weekly, and monthly snapshots, with persistent storage managed via SQLite and SQLAlchemy to support efficient historical queries.
The frontend features an interactive dashboard, allowing users to explore article counts, sentiment distributions, source breakdowns, and trending keywords through intuitive visualizations. Modern charting libraries ensure clarity and accessibility, while RESTful APIs facilitate seamless integration between frontend and backend.
Results demonstrate the platform’s capability to deliver actionable insights, such as identifying shifts in sentiment, tracking the emergence of specific topics, and comparing coverage across sources. The modular architecture supports extensibility for additional sources or analytical methods.

<text>This research presents BalkanFreelance, a specialized freelancing web platform designed specifically for the Balkan (EX-YU) region. The platform addresses the gap between global freelancing marketplaces and the unique economic needs of the Balkan area by creating a localized digital hub that enables regional talent to showcase their skills and secure employment opportunities.
The problem addressed is the overloaded global freelance market, and the lack of opportunities for local freelancers and young talents to showcase their skills and knowledge.
Two important features set BalkanFreelance apart: a strong role-based authentication system guaranteeing platform security and trust, and a hybrid payment system enabling both conventional ways (PayPal) and blockchain-based transactions.
The platform's core functionality includes comprehensive gig management, so the users are able to create their own gigs as well as search for opportunities that match their skills.
While acknowledging challenges such as market competition and trust-building, BalkanFreelance aims to empower local professionals, create new income streams, and foster a digital community that supports self-employment.
This project shows how locally focused digital solutions could boost entrepreneurship and generate economic growth within the Balkan region's growing gig economy.
